I have a bike just like that, that I managed to get knocked off of last January, so the article couldn't have come along at a better time.

Yup, that is one nice bike. I suspect that your cost estimate is optomistic by about a third. (don't ask me how I know) The great thing is that even with that high cost, the bike is a rider. The pipes will blue, rock chips will christen the paint but the real value of the bike, as a rider, will only grow as the rider and machine grow more familiar.
