K1200GT Top Case Rack [Archive]

Does anybody know where you can buy the top case rack in this picture?? Or who makes it??

The rack is made by BMW and any dealership should be able to get it for you. I have it (in fact the picture looks like my bike all the way down to the black K1200S wheels) and it is great. Bought mine at the Daytona Florida BMW dealership.

I'm referring to the rack on the top of the top case, not the rack the top case attaches to. I can't find any info on any of the fiche on this, so I'm not sure that Goblin is correct on this.

Goblin - do you have a part number?

Try Harley-Davidson. You may not find the same one pictured, but they do have them.

The case has BMW stamped on it, a BMW decal and instructions in German and English. I don't believe the rack is sold seperately as I have viewed several GTs in Florida with this integrated case/rack system.

There are no numbers on the rack but the number stamped on the case is as follows:7160-7682080 ec 71-60 (please note a digit may be wrong as the numbers are extremely hard to read)
