Dear Canadian Friend,
On behalf of myself and the other two sensitive Americans I know, please accept our apologies for the crass behavior of Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.
Gosh, I know that if I were ever silly enough to visit the core of French Canadian separatism I would certainly never poke fun at people who make it their life work to alienate people around them on a national and international scale.
People who want to make life for themselves and others more difficult and who impose their wills on others should be treated with fear, and perhaps prodded with long pointy sticks, but no one should presume to make fun of them.
Sure, it is okay for Canadians to criticize America and the decisions of our government, but that is no reason for an obnoxious sock puppet to run roughshod over some teeny-tiny French Canadian egos.
