Iron Butt Rally 2007

The 2007 Iron Butt Rally will take off on Monday, August 20, 2007
from the St. Louis, Missouri area. Once again, it will be a challenge
not only to riding skills but also the riders ability to map a

The BMW SA site is having problems. The link was to an interview with the head of the SA group. In it he seems to be just short of saying the F800GS will be a 2008 model. The interview is from July 2006,

That's fine M1ka, there is now word the first showing will be at the Paris Motorcycle Show at the end of September. The discusion is hot as a sticky at f800riders.org right here:

It will likely be March/Feb 2008 before it goes it sale, though. I suppose the IMS MC show in Phoenix in October might have one to show. That's a year after when and where I fell in love with the F800S that I bought in March 07! Yet, I will not be tempted to trade, the S is too much fun. Maybe it'll get a fraternal twin!
