I could've handed out 1/2 dozen of these in the last 24 hours......

I'm walking in to work yesterday morning, Aerostitch on, helmet and gloves under arm.....

One of my coworkers asks "Did you ride your bike in today? It's raining out ya know. You didn't ride in the rain did you? Was it raining when you left the house?"

"Yes. Yes I know. Yes it was" I replied.

Then last night, I stop for gas at the Kwik Trip.

Again, full Aerostitch riding gear.

"That your motorcycle?" some guy asks.

"Yep."

"You rode in the rain?!?!"

"Yeah I did."

Then a stupid question I've never heard before.......
"So do you change over to those special rain tires for days like this?"

You really want to be nice to people. But sometimes the Goddess of Sarcasm possesses a man and causes him to say nasty things. This was one of those times.

'I actually have two identical BMW's. One has rain tires, the other has slicks."

While in Sturgis I was looking for new boots.

Don't know if I needed the sign - for asking - or the Harley cutie did.

At the Dealership, I asked which of the women's boots were waterproof.
"None", she said, "but one of the men's boot styles is."

I forgot. They don't ride in the rain!

Riding back from the rally in West Bend, I took the S.S. Badger back to Ludington, Michigan. There were several hundred other BMW riders on the boat that afternoon.
A lady approached me and asked me if there was a BMW motorcycle convention. I had stated to her that no there wasn't. We all just decided to ride our BMW's at the same time.
