Hi

I installed a neat adaptor with LEDs that plug directly into the brake light socket of my 1200GS. (no mess no fuss no wiring.... it is plug and play)

Does the same thing exist for the 1200RT? If so who makes it?

Thanks

Denis G.

Most after market LED brake lights will not work on the RT, due to BMW's use of single-filament brake light bulbs on this bike. They run these as tail lights as well as brake lights, so there is no tail light wire to drive normal LED lights.

I designed P3 Lights (http://P3Lights.com) to work on the R1200RT. They are compatible with the CAN-bus system, and also the single filament brake/tail light bulbs.
