A really fast ride? Yes, but also a really stupid ride.

Overall the rider had much better technique than the driver, but there were a couple of places where he was just plain lucky.

Absolutely. Especially the first time he tried to pass the porsche. It was definitely an exercise in Darwinism and excessive testosterone.
