After attending the rally in West Bend and riding through Canda and dropping off my brother in VT, I picked up my daughter to start heading back to Alabama. This was to be the big father-daughter ride before she went off to college. The ride came to an end in Thomas, WV when we were rear-ended and then pushed off the side of an enmankment by a driver that did not stop to help. He was arrested a few hours later and charged with DUI and failure to stop at a property damage related accident.

By the grace of God, we were only bumped and brusied. We were wearing all of the pretective gear from head to toe. I am not sure what is going to happen with this, but I am down in AL now and would love to have counsel in WV. If anyone knows a lawyer that would love to see the guilty party suffer a bit and want to help out a motorcyclist, please e-mail me at: steven.hebert@yahoo.com.

Thanks for all of you that have checked with us thus far.

Give Tom McGrath a call (http://www.motorcyclevirginia.com/) - he is in Virginia but may well be able to give you a good referral. I know of several folks that have used him and were exceedingly happy with the representation.
