Looking for help on the maintenance needed on my k12. It has about 600 miles on it and according to my dealer I need to spend about $300.00 +++ to have the oil and filter changed, brake fluid bled and changed, and rear lube changed. They of course are going to check everything and blah, blah, blah... I work at a BMW automobile shop and have no problem working on my own cars.
:dunno :dunno SO....Can anyone help with a service schedule on what needs to be done on this bike? How is each task done correctly (I guess I need help finding a shop manual)? What is the best oil and rear diff lube to use in this bike (I have access to all types to include Red Line, Royal Purple, Lucas, Torco, Amsoil, etc... )? Any help would be greatly appreciated; I don't mind doing my own work just want to make sure I do everything correctly and use the BEST fluids.:bikes
