We are home from great one this year. Yes the "Rally" was better than average by a good margin:). I've done 5 of the last 6. My wife and I rode the K1200LT from Clovis,CA and had a wonderful time both ways, to and from Wisconsin. We took the north routes, as in Idaho, Montana and the Dakota's, etc. 4 National Parks, Yellowstone, Glacier,Waterton(Canada) and Crater lake, which all added spice to the trip indeed. More bears than ever seen on this trip. "5" Grizzly's and 4 Blackies, so this was a first for me to see so many. Never before have I seen so many and only one in my life, of the Grizzly variety before this trip. One in Canada's Waterton Park and the others in YellowstoneNP. How exciting to see such a carnivore in the wild:). If you've never seen a Grizzly up close(within reason), you've not lived one exciting moment! I thought so. Anyhow, 6200 miles and the KLT1200 could not have done better, with trailer in tow and camping every night for 16 days. Life gets no better:). Happy Trails, Randy13233:D
