What are the differences in a 2002 or 2003 K1200RS with barbacks and saddlebags vs. a K1200GT with barbacks of the same model year?

They look a lot like the same bike once the handlebars are the same, but the used prices are very different.

Thanks in advance.

I own a 2004 GT and had a '98 RS before it. The only difference (between the model years you're talking about) are electric seats, electric windshield and some fairing add-ons for greater wind protection. Of course, the GT came standard with bags but most RSs seem to have them added. I see the two bikes as nearly identical in all respects.

In addition to the items above. the GT came with the Mickey Mouse mirrors, while the RS has the larger rectangular mirrors. Gt's didn't come out until '03, and had the wider rear wheel standard.

Also (if I'm not mistaken) the GT has painted saddlebag lids and the RS usually had the natural black ABS lids (which tend not to show rock chips and scratches as readily in my opinion).
