I`m looking for someone who I`m told makes an adapter that plugs into the Autocom
connector and allows you to use the ear bud speakers. Thanks, Harvey

I would be interested in a set of those too. It would be more comfortable and less noisy I would imagine.

Easy,

I went to Radio Shack and bought a 3.5 Mini in-line jack.

Cut the Auto-Com earphones off about 3" from the main connector. Solder the 3.5 in its place, then use a standard ear-bud.

Works well. Also, you can use custom ear molds/speakers.

wire the ground for ear speaker to the ourside shell, then one speaker hot lead to each of the other lugs.

This all assumes your good witha soldering iron.

Autocom now offers an ear but adapter.

Part 27 for older systems (5 pin)

Part 26 for the New ones (7 pin)

$44.99 - for those who don't want to solder thier own it works really well!

Look on the Autocom website, they now offer a plug in adapter. Look for part #26 ( I think!).

Bernie,
No, I won't be at the Winter Rally, but I will be at the B-Cubed Campout during Bike Week. www.bcubed.org
