Lately I have noticed that, at lower speeds (20 to 45 or so) my speedometer has started to jump around and basically give false readings. When I get up to 50 mph it settles down and seems to be right. ANyone have any helpful info on what might be the problem? :dunno

I'll start with suggesting you pull the speed sensor out of the top of the final drive and wipe it off.

Buckeye, Not to be a wise a--, but be glad the thing works good at hiway speeds;) . I've been reading many posts on K bike speedo problems, and how common they are, since just lately mine finally quit completely. It was good/bad/good/bad/broke... I just talked to Palo Alto Speedometer today in fact, and they have stopped working on the K speedos, because of all the returns they had to deal with. They said it just wasn't worth the effort. :hungover If you are interested, check the IBMWR site tech pages for some info and education on the problems. I did try cleaning the sensor 1st, but no joy here. Good luck on yours, KC
