Okay, got back from the rally, great time.
I want some sort of bags for my r1200s that don't involve drilling and that won't scratch the living #$!& out of the paint.
Anyone have any ideas?

Order a set of the panniers from BMW that are specifically made for the R12ooS. Between the two panniers and a small tank bag, you should have enough capacity for 7-10 days of riding.

For a sportster you can consider the tail bags from Cortech.
I have a R1200C but it came without bags and right now I cant afford the touring bags that I like for the C so I am using the Cortech tail strap bags ( two side bags and a top bag). They have decent tang bags to.
