K1200LT-C, PHX to Columbus, OH

Greetings!
I'm a new member, about to pick up a 1999 K1200LT-C in Phoenix and ride it back to Columbus, OH (just under 2,000 miles according to mapquest).

Any advice or trip planning suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jim.

You'll enjoy that bike! I've got a '99LT that I bought 2 years ago which now has 40,000 miles on it.

If your anatomy is like mine, you would enjoy a bead rider or something similar on the seat. I picked mine up at Lone Star BMW in Texas for about $15.00 and use it most of the time.

I can't help with the route other than to say enjoy the ride!
