OK Guys:

Got an 02 R1150R and need to lower it an inch or two. Does anyone know any tricks?

After 30 years of riding R models and putting up with the absurd height, if I can't get this solved, I'm gonna go get a VStrom!

The two options I know of are to have a lower seat made (mayer, sargent, corbin) or get lowering shocks. I've got Wilbers shocks with the ride height adjusters on my R1100R and they do the job of lowering the bike nicely.

I have a corbin seat that allows people with ducks syndrone to flat foot it. i am 5'9" and it is too short for me. But the Wilbers shocks are the best investment you could make, they turn a RR into a true sport machine, and they can be ordered to lower the bike. As you can guess I went with the Wilbers. So the corbin is for sale $150.00 plus shipping.
