Ive just come across a shock that was mounted on a '94 K75, I'm not sure which model. It has a sticker on it that says; BMW and MOS , it measures 13 3/4" from eye to eye.
I have never seen one like this, and I would appreciate any information that anyone might have.

I think it was the BMW "Sport Shock." Knary had one.

I think it seems a Wilbers one.

I could be wrong but wasn't the BMW 'sport shock' was a Nivomat and that does not look like a Nivomat.

The Nivomat was the "touring" shock, since it was supposed to pump itself up under load to keep a constant ride height.

What they said. I had one on my K75s, thanks to the bike's previous owner. It is the BMW "Sport" shock sold in the early to mid-90's for $800 or so. It's actually a rebadged White Power shock (important information for when it needs to be rebuilt). It's may not be an Ohlins, but its far better than the profoundly crappily squishy stock shock.

Damn, it sold pretty cheap on Ebay. I should have bid higher.

Thanks!

Probably not. A decade+ old shock with older technology (cork seals for example) isn't something I would chase.

Time to ride. ;)
