Lake Express Ferry Rates

We were under the impression that special rally rates applied on the Lake Express Ferry for BMW riders. Just found out that the special rate applies only to the 6:00 a.m. departures.

Has anyone else had experience booking the non-dedicated ferry sailings? Did you receive any special pricing. We're paying 51.00 for the bike and 68.50 for each person.

Would like to know if anyone has received the special rate for a non-6:00 a.m. sailing.

While I'm on the 6am Sat, sailing and paying $75 total (bike & me), I know a number of riders on the 12:30 sailing on Sat. They posted replys to my post here about the Lake Express filling up.

I got a discount on a westbound boat for Thursday at 10:30 or so.

It was not offered on the website, I had to call to get the special rate.

Actually I didn't know about the discount and booked a reservation at full price on-line. Shortly after making the reservation (eastbound 12:30 Sat) I figured out that taking the boat would make it harder to get to work on Monday so I called to change the reservation.

It was during the call that the very nice lady told me about the discount and refunded me the difference.

We got the discounted rate ($75 bike & body) for the 10.15am Thursday westbound leg.

I registered online and had to make a change, and got the new rate refunded.
Westbound to Milwaukee on the 11th.

hm that wasn't my experience. i booked dates a couple days before the rally and like 4 days after, and i paid around $120 total with the discount.
