I have been a member of many forums over the years and have been on the internet for over 10 years, but for the first time in my life, I bought a BMW!

Funny thing is, I sold a Suzuki DRZ400S to buy a BMW, but I work for Harley Davidson, and I drive an Audi!

Here are some pictures :)

For the record, it is a 1987 K100LT (Luxury Touring!) with 51500 miles or so, here are some pics I just snapped:

It even has a pull out stereo!

Anyway, picked this up for just a little less than what I sold the Suzuki for, so I am in good shape :)

Rides like a dream - OMG, what a great day!

:heart

Thanks for reading, for those of you that did!

P.S. Yes. I wear a helmet!

P.S. S. Here is the Suzuki that I sold:

Welcome Aboard. The mileage would indicate the K100 is barely broken in. You are going to love the smooth ride.

The first thing to be ordered - new tires - lol

Thanks for all the "Welcomes" - Hope to meet some of you someday :)

Real riders wear their tires out on the sides ! Your bike, and Audi cage proves you enjoy the corners. Welcome aboard and I hope you have many enjoyable twisty roads to come. :german

Now how the heck can I change my username?

To any moderator that might read this, please change my name to "1Adam12" - without the quotes of course.

Welcome Adam.

That Suzuki must have been fun to ride. Is it a Supermotard or a dirt bike with dual purpose tires?

Thanks a ton guys - I am really having a great time on this bike :bikes

Next thing on my agenda is to get new tires, brake pads, and a master cylinder rebuild kit for the rear (its leaking just a tad)
After that, I have been looking into a new set of pipes, kinda looking at the Remus.
Then, I might get a new seat (black) and paint the bike white with some black pinstriping - might look really good too!

Thanks again :)

:clap

Welcome to the Funhouse! Nice color on that LT. :thumb

What Audi do you own? (looks like an S4 with the new grille, no?)

Welcome aboard, and congrats on your new ride.

I must say that's a good looking LT, and a darn nice DRZ as well. Must've been hard to part with that. Oh well, as long as you replaced it with another motorcycle, all is well.:thumb

Indeed it is. I'd glanced at the front end and then the body of the VW in the other pic and my mind thought "A4"...

Nice TT pics in your link, man! CF roof eh? :thumb

I also purchased an older K100. Like the bike but wish the gearing was higher.
Welcome to the club.
