This is the first BMW rally myself and the SO will be attending. We've quite enjoyed meeting people along the way and we were wondering if there was an informal meeting time that was already planned of a gathering of Canucks?

Cheers!

Yeah, we're all going to wear skimpy speedos, and eat poutine. :)

Was going to bring my igloo, but it's probably going to melt as soon as I cross the border, so I'll settle on a blue tent.

You mean I have to leave the dog sled behind! Durn it. That means I have to ride...:D

Well, my plate looks like my avatar, so I'll look for others!

CHEERS!

...those hooligans are everywhere Dave! Follow the laughter, the cries of "Sociable!!!" (or is that just an Atlantic Canada thing??), witty stories and jokes fill the air (Canadians have some of the very best humor aka humour); we wish that we could be there this year to help you in your quest. However, please be aware that our 'kindred spirits' are found throughout that land south of the 49th and you will have a wonderful time no matter where you (aka ya'll) land. After all, they didn't all vote for Bush! Just like we all didn't vote for Harper! Enjoy!

Re-upped my membership after 20+ years(sad but true). My first rally too!(old tech exclamation) Maybe a gathering of "Canuks" for a picture on saturday morning? Quite overt! Quite un-Canadian!...yet strangely exciting.(where's the "I hate emoticons" emoticon).

Consider it "heart attack in a box". It takes fries and gravy to a whole new level, so to speak.

I'm looking forward to meeting up with all the Canadians at some point during the rally...and I too like the idea of a group picture...I'm just not a morning person...
