We're leaving on July 11 from Oakville. We plan to ride the slab to Indiana, then try and hit Chicago around 11 am the next morning to avoid the biggest parts of the traffic crush. We're staying about 30 minutes south of the rally (hotel points!). We're staying through to the 16th (Monday) and then heading back north and either crossing at the Sault or back down to Sarnia... Either way, PM if this suits your schedule..

I'll be heading out Wednesday morning (July 11th) from St. Marys (north-east of London) and heading across thru Sarnia/Port Huron. Will take one of the ferries across as opposed to going thru Chicago. I'll be returning Saturday morning as I'm working Sunday.

Anyone else from Southern Ontario going to the rally Wednesday?

Leaving 09 July from Toronto, heading up to cross over at Tobermony/South Baymouth ferry, north around Lake Superior, stop over at Aerostitch in Duluth, then down to West Bend. Heading back via Manitowoc/Ludington ferrry, cross over at Sarnia.

We'll be leaving the Windsor area on the 11th, across Michigan, then the ferry to Milwaukee. Heading home on Sunday, either south through Chicago, or up through the U.P. Haven't decided yet.

I will be leaving Maple City, Mi early in the morning of the 12th, crossing the Mackinac bridge by 10AM or so, then across the Michigan Upper Peninsula on US2/35 and south to West Bend by late afternoon.

Well if all goes well there is three of us now and we will be meeting up at the Tim Hortons in London on the Wednesday just off the highway at Wellington and Exeter in the morning, Planning to make the Express at 4:55 to cross.

I was planning the same return route not sure on time or if late Sat or Sun. I had thoughts of coming home on the late Badger run 12:00ish and getting a few winks on the ship in a state room before doing Mich. and maybe taking in some sights.

Not sure what was you thought!
