Probably will need one. You could borrow mine. I have a yellow Eureka and I ride a Beemer.
Should be easy to spot.

We have been using that for years, it used to be a green Eureka Timberline, until we finally started seeing other kinds at rallies.
The ground is hard enough to need a hammer but a boot heel will work (usually) and if you ask if anybody nearby has a hammer at Nat'l, somebody close usually does. In fact, we were setting up our tents at Hiawatha and some other folks came up and asked if we needed help.
Dang helpful BMW riders.:thumb

Hmmmmmm.....rent out my hammer for 1 Wisconsin microbrew per tent set-up. I'm thinking there's some real potential to start my first rally in style.:hungover
The camping area is all grass, so even if Wisconsin has a dry spell and the ground is really dry, the boot of your heel should be all you need to put in the stakes.
And DEFINITELY stake those tents. It always seems to be windy up there on that hill.

#5: The energy bar I placed in my Aerostich Darien pocket three years ago. It's one solid peice of carmalized, melted chocolate and nuggat that would rival any weenie camp hammer! ;-)

since I backpacked lugging 60 lbs up the trail long before I started camping on a motor bike, products like this represent the true conundrum of life!
Here is a plastic hammer that hold water! Pack in, pound in, then drink the water!
Only trouble I have with this whole gig is would it not be less trouble, and a heckofa lot more fun to use a rock, or maybe a wayward child that happen stance to be near than even worry your head about how to pound in the #$%$% tent stake?
#4 on the list to use to pound in that tent stake...
The frozen t bones bought at the west bend market for dinner!
Pound em and eat em is my motto!
