Reason Number 1:
The Patch is AWESOME!
Come on you guys - who can add something else?

Beautiful! If the logo, patch, and theme can't get someone fired up about the event and the location, entertainment, and beer garden(s) don't do it, I don't know what else someone could want. The whole organization and development of this event has been terrific! It is going to be a FANTASTIC time!!! :) If I have to crawl there through broken glass, I would not miss it! Good job Sue, et al.
If you haven't looked at the great pictorials by Santa - or if you haven't looked for awhile - take time now.
The riding here is "Ya-HOO" fun! This shot is on the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive.
Just a little something to "Whet your Whistle"
It takes a while to download, but it's great fun!

The three reasons are, as follows:
#1 1955 R25/3
#2 F650
#3 F 800
For the life of me, I can't seem to put this problem behind me!
Every since receiving my BMWON (pg. #104), I have been hoplessly struggling with the decision; How am a goona pick my bike when I win on the first draw!?
My heart says the R25/3, my dream bike. the closest I came was my 1983R65LS, and that was way too new to really enjoy a classic. I would be soooo proud to own her! We would ride hand to clutch, toe to shifter around town and easing down the backroads to grandma's house! What a Deal!!
But the F650 would allow me to put the dirt roads around here into perspective, along with the dirt cow pastures, the deer trails, not to mention a quick romp to the store "the back way" to get "sugar". I could retire my KAW 250 "Super Sherpa" and just ride the 650....What a Deal!!!
The reality says when I win the MOA/Wisconin bike, I shall choose the F800, because this is really what I need, another friend for my 05R1200GS! A companion so to speak, to while away the long winter hours in the garage, a bike that could be kept as clean as a goldwing owned by a neat freak, and only ride it special places, like to go to the store to grab a little Sugar! My son is 13....ahhhthats it! in a few more years, he will be ready for 800 cc'c of fine BMW pedigree! I will put the bike away and save it for him....NOT!
I don't know which one is mine, these three reasons to go to the Rally!?!!?
Somebody help me decide, the R/253, the F800 or the F650!

The patch is cool fer sure, but is there a reason we don't do stickers? I know I'd be more likely to display a sticker on my bike than a patch on me.

Hmmmm... good idea... all my patches sit in a drawer, waiting for me to make a display for them - but I keep adding one to the collection each year so I don't know how big to make this thing... ;)

Get #1. Anybody with a decent credit rating can buy either or both of the other two five days a week at any dealership.

Wow, Sue the patch looks pretty smoking! First time I've seen it in "3D"!
How'd the mugs come out?
JT -
Have't seen the mugs yet - they are being shipped directly to the Fair Park.
The shirts are AMAZING! The pins are really great too. Name tags are ordered. Awards are ordered.
Overall, my friend, you done good. DAMN good.
Barkeep! A BEER for my friend here, and Whiskey for his horse!

CAMP GEARS!
I can't wait to see the younger riders out in full force, learning about a whole slew of interesting topics and forming new friendships. It's great to be around kids who keep in simple and share their love of bikes.
I also hope to meet some of the Pioneers...pretty amazing folks if you ask me!

It looks a bit tight, don't you think? :brow
I hope things are spread out a bit more in West Bend.
With 133 acres, there should be room to spread out a little.
But in fairness, the photo you reference was of the Sherpa Service. He puts his tents in a tight unit.

The Redmond rally had cling vinyl stickers that were great. No gummy mess, stick to the inside of your windshield. Mine is still on my bike.

you may actually see a Hodag.....
I've have heard that these are mythical creatures. It would certainly be newsworthy to have appear that the rally!
On an interesting sidenote, one of the guys in the Wisconsin Club is a Rhinelander native, and his license plate on his LT is HODAG.
