Was in NYC 5/22. Had a delicious luncheon in Arty's Deli (http://www.arties.com/menu.asp). The pickles and the slaw and everyting were great.
Lunch is over and we head back to the Museum of Natural History to show grandson more dinos, elephants and all the great exhibits.
As we walk up the street we come upon this scene. One driver is trying to drive into parking space and the second driver is trying to back into same parking space. Neith of the drivers will yield. When we left both drivers were on cellphones speaking rapidly but neither seemed willing to yield.

Great pic!
You'd expect that kind of nonsense in NYC, but it also happens in little ol' university towns like Ann Arbor more often than you might think! I'll have to start carrying a camera more often.

Art imitates life...or is it the other way around? They did this on Seinfeld...probably after the writers saw it happen on the street...

As anyone who has ever lived in NYC for more than a week will tell you, there was nothing original about Seinfeld. Regardless, still the best sit/com ever.
Did ya ever notice, young people don't use the word "luncheon"? What's the deal with that? :p

I remember the day when sweets and comics were bought in a "Candy Store" and pizza was 25¢ a slice! (and there were no such establishments called "Ray's"!).

Was visiting with my grandson and daughter in NYC. He lives in Orlando but family was visiting NYC to have a Disney break. We had just finished lunch at a good deli name Arty's. Walked out of Arty's and was headed back toward Central Park.
Alway have a camera when I am with grandson.
