July 9 - 11 will be the AMA Superbike races at Laguna Seca. Anyone here planning to go?

To me Laguna Seca is about the ultimate Superbike venue, a wonderful track in a spectacular setting next to Monterey, California. My wife and I are taking a few days off before and after race weekend, riding our bikes to Monterey for the races and exploring a bit of central California before and after. If anyone else is planning to go it would be great fun to get together -- perhaps dinner on Saturday night?

If we can get down there, I'm definitely in for dinner.

If you haven't been, it's an absolute ball.

My first ever trip to California for business was the superbike weekend at Laguna Seca. I was in San Jose and had a weekend to kill. I chose to go to Monterey for sightseeing that weekend because the movie and book Cannery Row are favorites. While quaffing a beer in Monterey I mentioned to a fellow nearby that there sure seemed to be a lot of bikes around. He told me about the races, said the had a ticket he couldn't use, and asked if I wanted it. That was a no brainer, I saw great racing at a beautiful facility, and had a really good time at the party in Monterey saturday night The whole town kind of belongs to the bikers and racers that weekend, as truly was a hoot.

I'm looking at the date for WSB, the date of the MOA national and the Ouray AdvRider meet and trying to find a way to do them all.....
