Because of the non-tubular shape of the handle bars, you are probably going to have to get a RAM mount that you can mount through the mirror holes. I had one all picked out for my 2000 RT and then traded the bike in for my '03 CL. And of course, I did not keep a record of the RAM part number. There might be a Techmount solution as well.

I will look into it. Right now I am using Plastic Zip Ties. It works but it is not very easy on the eyes. :sick

I have gone the RAM mount route with the Zumo. It may look funky to some folks, but I love the fact it can be adjusted to almost any position imaginable. I purchased a longer 5 1/4" arm and two smaller 3" arms. I have tried the 5 1/4" arm and now have the two smaller arms mounted...trying to compare and see which I prefer.

I got the Migsel from adventures workshop. It is a VERY good mount and will work out of the box with the ZUMO... no extra RAM parts and pieces to get. Only drawback the expanse. I justified it to myself since there is two additional RAM mounts should I ever feel the need. Although, with the ZUMO... I shouldn't.
