Any favorite breakfast areas in the area you ride? I'm always looking for a decent pre-ride place to fill up before throttle time...

Here are mine in the Bay Area of California...

Christies in Burlingame
Nini's in Burlingame
Sky Kitchen (I think that's the name) at San Carlos Airport

There are others...

Not to slant this too much toward a Bay Area thang, but I like the Joe's in San Rafael by Northgate Mall as well as the Pine Cone Diner in Pt. Reyes Station.

There's a place up in Occidental that I can't remember the name of, but the breakfast is awesome. It might be more of a Ride to Breakfast Place.

Of course, the Bovine Bakery may not be full breakfast, but they have awesome coffee and the baked goods are excellent.

Toosy's Waystation (http://www.toosys.com/)

(pardon the noise on the front page....) They have good biscuits and you can pretty much count on something weird showing up in the parking lot.

The Hitching Post in Oakley Oh, is a good pre ride breakfast spot. Pearls diner in Fairfield Oh is another good one. I have to say that the waffle house has been a welcome sight many late nights, and early mornings. Bob Evans restaurants, have some awesome biscuits and gravy. To me B&G has to be the worlds greatest breakfast food.

I don't get to go to Waffle House unless I'm working down south, but that would be my first choice..

Because of that, my breakfast place is 1 1/2 hours northwest of me.. Good warm up to a riding day..

Clyde Cafe in Clyde, WI... There is no other place... 15 minutes northwest of Dodgeville, WI (home of Lands' End)

I'll vote again for the Wagon Wheel in Carmel, CA. It's
down Carmel Valley Road. Near Quail Lodge.

Michael's Bar & Grill

US 15-501, between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Biker's Breakfast, every Sunday 9AM to 1 PM

Lots of coffee, lots of bikes, somewhat tolerable food, lots of backroads in the area, and the cops aren't really looking for enriching the local coffers.
