J-pegs on a 06 K1200LT?

My bud has a K1200LT (2006) and wants to put on J-pegs but has those little lights there,is that gonna be problem?

I just installed j-pegs on my'06lt a little difficult cutting out the bottom of bumpers cleanly.When the J-Pegs are in the closed position the lights will be partially covered
