oil seepage

I have a question regarding oil seepage on my 03K12RS. (front seal). It's under warranty I am trying to wait until 12K miles to take advantage of significant discount being offered by dealer. If oil level remains constant in viewer window, can I do any damage.:dunno

If its just the timing cover weeping, don't worry about it. I've never had a K bike that didn't do it. A little oil seep can make a huge mess tho.

What kind of a discount is your dealer offering? That's an interesting way of handling warranty work.

I think that stopping that timing cover leak is just a right of passage with K12RS bikes. Don't know of any that haven't leaked there. Had mine fixed under warranty and no problem since.
