I just installed a set of "HyperLights" on my 94 K75. They work great! However when I took her out for the first spin after the installation, I noticed that my GPS was not getting any power from the accessory plug. When I had a chance to check things out, I found that I had a blown fuse. The fuse in question was a 15amp (4th from the top of the fuse panel) labeled "Stechdose".
Since the new break lights are still functioning, I am wondering if this was a totally coincidental occurance, or could the installation of the Hyperlights effected the "Stechdose" and or the accessory plugs?
Pardon if this is a simple question (I am by no means an electrician) Any insight would be appreciated.

Lucky for you I just dealt with these parts yesterday! I added the accessory socket retrofit kit, so I'm very familiar with what you've described. My guess is that these are totally unrelated situations.
The fourth from the top/fourth from the bottom fuse is indeed the fuse for the accessory outlet. I don't speak German, but I'm guessing "Stechdose" is German for "accessory outlet".
The Hyper-Lites, if anything like my Hyper-Lites, install directly into the rear brake circuit, and is protected by a different fuse.
I guess it's entirely possible that something happened while you were installing the Hyper-Lites, but the installation process seems so easy and fool-proof so I'm really wanting to discount this possibility.
Fuses are cheap, so I'd replace the fuse and see if it happens again. If it does, it's time to start checking out the affected sections of the wiring harness with a multimeter to see if you can find the fault - but my hunch is that it won't blow again.
As always, YMMV :)

Thanks for the info...I'll keep an eye on it!
