I was wondering what kind of roadside assistance most folks use here? I'm interested in getting some but not sure what is offered out there.

go with the BMWMOA Gold. It worked for me.. The folks know motorcycles and stayed with me for over 4 hours trying to find a flatbed on a very busy weekend.

Just switch from GEICO ins. AAA motorcycle coverage includes special motocycle roadside assistance. (Regular AAA roadside assistance does NOT cover motorcycle breakdowns).
If you belong to the AMA they offer their Motow service for $25/year. It is great, btw, picks you up anywhere and takes you anywhere you want/need to take it - not just to the nearest service center like some others do.:wave
I have it because when I signed up for it, I had an older bike. The new 2007 bike I have supposedly comes with a road service, but I am waiting for the welcome package with it before I do anything else.

I personally rely on my Progressive Roadside Assistance to get me back on the road. I've only had to use it once and they came thru with flying colors.(what ever that means!!):bikes

To quote Blanche Dubois - I rely on the kindness of strangers...
I use the Anon book. So far no worries, I have not had to use it.

At the advice of others on the forum, I went with Good Sam. With their dedication to the RV crowd, they offer unlimited towing, flatbeds, etc. They also cover all vehicles in my fleet so my SUV, truck, and HD are in the clear as well. It was pricey to start ($59.00), but renewal was only $15.00. So far I've not had to use it, but it's nice to know I have it.

I have the MOA platinum cycle club "plan E the card says. During Bike Week, (on the way) my F650 broke down in Lake City Fla. (about 100 miles from Daytona). I called the number and was told that they would send a truck and take my car to the Amoco transmission store in Lake City. They didn't know anything about motorcycles, and didn't seem to much care about me or my broke bike. The guy the towing place sent was a rider, so he knew how to hook up the bike, and tie it down etc. Towing service was ok, help service left much to be desired. Oh, and the tow cost me ~$300.00 since I didn't go to the Amoco store.... I traded the 650... Dang expensive Bike Week... I would recommend looking else where for towing coverage, some of the ones already mentioned MUST be better.... YMMV
