This was my first flat front tire. The wind was very heavy and I kept fighting the bars thinking I was compensating for the wind. Nope. Turns out I was in the fast lane passing merrily along on a flat tire! Yikes.

When I slowed some, it was obvious there was a problem. From 30 mph to 0 was the scarriest and closest to dropping. It wallowed all over. Anyway. Atlanta BMW had a new tire mounted, balanced and out the door for me in UNDER 30 MINUTES!!!!! So, my friend took me back to the bike where I executed a freeway repair (with onboard tools, like a good bmw rider), and was on my way.

Lousy weather for Saturday, but the event was nice - great people. And it felt good to take a little road trip.
