Whoa baby! No more rattle between 3-4k RPM. Set the valves to
.010 in and .014 ex and went to the Autolite plug ($1.99). I did get real "German" on the valve adjustment... Each valve had even the same drag on the feeler (I know, perfectionist..). Gapped each plug to exactly .031.

Since it is a opposed twin, each side must have EAXCTLY the same parameters to run equal, right?

Not sure which made the difference but no surging even with the Motronic closed loop and no Techlusion. :))

Just have to smile and :type
Still have a slight cam chain rattle at 6-7k RPM and sounds like it is from the right side now.

Both sides are never going to breathe the same. The first time you rode in a crosswind, the left and right cylinders became different.

Synching the throttle bodies after all that other work is the only way to make them breathe the same. You did this at the end, right?

Don't tell the OVAD boys. It's a spiritual beast, your bike's engine. You must dance and chant and align your energies before you can adjust a valve.
