NOt wanting to chap any of my northern MOA community, BUT, ...
Don't you love when the story turns into a ...BUT...
Have enjoyed our central Texas Spring for several weeks already. Went for a after work spin yesterday to see the local creeks and rivers after a much deserved drought busting rain late last week.
Several low water crossings that have been dry for over a year are running. And everything is green-green-green!
Hope it comes to your area soon!:nyah and this big boy says :wave

GREAT picture!
We're sure loving our first spring in Texas. And the wildflowers! I'm so amazed. I find new ones every day. Sunday Paul and I rode the River Road FM170 and saw cactus blooms that look like roses. Such delicate flowers in this harsh environment.

But spring isn't harsh here in Big Bend Country. It's the best riding ever!
Go here to see more Wildflowers:

:doh sorry to hear that...SERIOUSLY! it was raining on my ride in, clearing now and 20-30mph windgusts the rest of day..Can't beat the snow issue , but sympathize! Yesterday our parking lot had 8 bikes...today...ME
And that longhorn pushed up against the barbwire fence and snorted as I was casually standing there...had to GO! came by a month ago and saw his head stuck between strands and two ranchhands scratching thier heads.
Anyone seen that groundhog BTW??

A couple of friends (K12LT, GoldWing) and I did a ~300 mile ride last Sunday. We went through Sam Houston National Forest, through College Station to the Independence area (FM330), back through Navasota and up to Carlos for a burger at Yankee's :eat and then home. The wildflowers were out (as were the tourists viewing them), it was 80 degrees and clear skies - good friends, good roads and no fast riding awards from the constabulary.

Glad to hear there is spring someplace. Rain and cold today that started out as sleet. Vermont has a winter weather warning. Sooner or later spring will get here. Last year at this time the golf courses had already been open for a couple of weeks.
Where is this Global Warming?

Not everybody is fortunate to live in Texas.

You are such a wimp! :nono I lived in the hill country for almost 20 years. The average high winter-time temps are 60 degree! That's outstading riding weather! Why have you waited until now to ride?
On another note: I now live (until this summer when I'm returning to Tex.) 16 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway...Eat your heart out!!:nyah
Love ya bro, ride safe!
