Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? But I did find it and not so far from where I live. Woodman's, a ridiculously large complex off the Orchard Road exit at I-88 has brought some Wisconsin products to us here in the flatlands.
Cheese curd, Usinger's bratwurst amongst other things. (In quantities only Noah might want) I was dizzied, I must say, by the size of the place and it's probably the worst example of what I might want as the site to find products like this (like a Mom and Pop unexpectedly discovered along the way) but . . . to find curd only 30 minutes away? Bliss! :bliss

heat them up in the microwave to get the squeak back
Weez, it's a little further than 30 miles, but if you get near Iowa City, take some time to visit Kalona. It's a small Mennonite community with a cheese factory. You can look through the window and watch curd being made. Without a doubt, the freshest I've ever had.
For a real treat-get some curd, fresh home made bread with home made jelly or peanut butter from the store next door, grab your favorite beverage and stop at the first rest stop and enjoy life.

Is this a one off unchained place that I could use in www.unchainedworld.com?

I certainly don't know why not. Interesting site- well done.
Anyone interested in the Squeaky Curd Club? Perhaps we could establish a tour while in WS.

Cheese curd + Usinger's bratwurst = Bliss.
Cheese curd, Usinger's bratwurst and a Spotted Cow = Nirvana!

I thought poutine was mashed potato with pork made into balls, not quite so artery clogging as your version.
