my 07 gt has brake wear light on dealer say bmw tec in new jersey will be working on it anyone with same probblem

I read somewhere that pads don't last as long as one might expect. Is this what
happened? How many miles on the bike?

I'm curious because I've just rolled over 3500 and the fronts squeak though the pads
look fine.

i have 3900 looked at pads cant see disk through holes in calliper so should be fine frount look meatey so glich in can bus or? :dance
