Instrument fogging

I am having a nagging problem with the tachometer fogging up on my 2004RT
My machanic replaced the original unit but alas its back with avengence!
Has anybody experienced the same problem ? :banghead

I have the problem on my RT, my Moto Guzzi, and my boat electronics. It must be similar to moisture getting into the totally closed hydraulic brake system - it does it one H2O molecule at a time. One suggestion by a service department was to use a hair dryer (but the moisture still remains trapped inside). I have resigned myself to just live with it until I can't read the instrument anymore.:cry
