I've been riding now for 5 years with 2 years on a 1985 K100RS, 3 years on a Kawasaki Concours, and now I've just purchased a new GS Adventure. I'm only 20 and my first five years of riding my insurance was covered under my father.
Now that I'm on my own I get to shop around for insurance on my own. I know with my age I expect to get higher quotes but nothing quite as high as the endorsed BMW MOA insurance.
My highest before BMW MOA endorse was $1300 with Progressive.
BMW MOA Endorsed $2300-$2600. The women on the phone then asked if I want a quote number if I call back and I said no thanks, at which time she chuckled and said thanks for giving us a shot. I got the impression that she must know that the quote is ridiculous.
Anyone else get a quote from these guys???
