Route 30, the Lincoln Highway runs through southern Pennsylvania with the section between Irwin, Pa. (near pittsburgh) and Abbottstown, Pa. (east of gettysburg) has a series of Murals & painted gas pumps along it's way.

Our local club had a contest a few years back to find all of them and take a picture of one's bike in front each location.

All of this is a day ride away from our campout in June and we'll have maps avaliable.

That's a super idea! Here's some detail from one at Rolling Fork, Mississippi. We were traveling by bike, and serendipitously arrived there during the blues festival. The mural is a bit about Teddy Roosevelt. The detail is about his hunt south of Rolling Fork, down near Onward, where he wouldn't shoot the bear because it had been tied up.

If you ever get to Vancouver Island, British Columbia - try to take in the little town of Chemainus- the murals are fantastic

Those are some pretty creative gas pumps: Vincent Van Gas; Saturday Evening Pump; etc.
