When you look at the pictures in the patent information it definitely borrows from the Ski-Doo. The front suspension is very close to the current Ski-Doo. Looking at the drawings almost leads me to believe it's front wheel drive. I would be sweat if it was all wheel drive, you could ride it around in the snow if that were the case. That's something I would seriously consider up here in the great white north...

Cheers!

I had thought of that too but the drawings on the patent application only show the wishbones and tie rod. There is no CV shafts to the front wheels.

BTW in searching the articles about the spy photos I found that this thing has the mighty Rotax 1000cc 60 degree twin like the Aprilia attached to a CV transmission.

In November of 2005 I attended the EICMA show in Milan and saw some KTM's that someone had made two wheel front ends for. I'm sorry I didn't get more info, and take a boatload of pics, because I couldn't find anything on the internets when I got home.\
This MAY be the same guy, I don't know.

Ah, so those boots were the tie rods not the CVs.. Still, it could be fun, even in the snow with a decent tires on it.. When I was growing up I remember a family around the corner that had a BMW hack, and they ran it year round. That's probably why I finally migrated towards the beemers. Back to admiring the Urals for me then...
