I believe that there is a difference between the Earls forks on the singles and the Earls forks on the twins. Is it the sizes of tubing used in the two? I am almost sure they use the same wheels and share some other identical parts. Anyone care to remind me on this. I'm conversing with a fellow who has no idea of what he's got and I have no idea either except this one notion.
Thanks in advance...

I recall reading that the singles' parts are "a slightly
diminutive version" of the others.
I measured the front swingarm tube on my R60/2 Earls and it's 1 1/4"OD (round). The oval section down tubes are 1 1/2" OD measured across the widest point of the oval about midway between the top cast bridge and the lower cast swingarm mount. Just in case any one might be curious about dimensions of the Earls used with the frame for Twins plus it's a basis for some comparison at this point. Thanks...

Shorter wheelbase, (54.5-55.7) smaller tires (3.25-3.50) smaller fenders, no hydraulic dampner on the R26/27 as well. There are differences in the twins and singles, but for the casual observer they look pretty much the same, other than the obvious engine with it's extra cylinder, carb, exhaust pipe, muffler, etc.
