Cable Upgrade Kit 2001 R1150GS

I'm ordering new throttle cables for my 2001 R1150GS. Dealer said there is an upgrade kit for this bike. Anybody know what the cable ugrade kit is?

its a plastic piece that fits to the grip. On the old one the throttle cable rubs on the plastic piece, on the new one the cable is prebent to protect it and the grip piece is straight so the cable isn't rubbing.
you'll just need to slide back your right grip a little bit, unscrew the old piece and cut it off so you don't need to remove the grip. Then new one goes on easy and just screws on...real easy. Clean up your bowden box while your at it but don't grease or oil it, that'll attract dirt. I used graphite powder like you use for locks. You'll be amazed what a difference new cables make for the feel.
