Even though it has been unusually warm in CT this winter, There have been a lot of grey skies and just plain yucky weather. Always gets me down a little. This morning I found myself (gasp!) looking at a Goldwing ad and wondering. I hate when I get bored, The brain starts to wander to weird places. I think maybe I had better ride today and screw the rain.

I wouldn't give it a second thought. If you love motorcycles, as we do, you love all motorcycles. I take four motorcycle magazines, probably fewer than most on this site, and read all I can find about everyone. The Goldwing is especially interesting in lieu of the current modifications. For one, although the airbag seems odd now, so did a seat belt at one time.

You should probably take a test ride. Once you see they ride like the Queen Mary, you probably won't find yourself looking the same way. If after the test ride you find yourself still looking, well at least you wife will know you're not looking at another woman.

I've been riding 3rd day this week.
Not really happy about my new Gerbing's Union Ridge heated pants, but inner liner jacket works great. well, today - nothing of that. Even summer gloves.

i'll stick with my oilhead.

We motorcycles suffer from PMS also. PMS = Parked Motorcycle Syndrome.
I did get to ride this week also and found out my right grip heater does not work.

Well then, that 'splains a lot. Now that I know that I have a "proven" medical condition, maybe I can get some paid time off work, fly someplace that has no ice on the roads and rent a bike there.

One of the poobahs in the school district I work for is retiring at the end of January. I ran into him yesterday and he was telling me he had just been down at the local BMW dealer's show room and sat on some bikes. I replied that it must be nice to be able to eff off in the middle of the day to go bike shopping. His reply -- "What are they going to do? Fire me?" He had a point. Edmonton Motorcycle Show begins in 7 days. Got my tickets. Now all I have to do is wait.

I rode to work today (MN)! I need to get some of those heated grips and an electric vest. Maybe next year.

We bought a Gold Wing. Found out that it was really, really hot to ride in the summer. Figured it would make a great cold weather bike...Not so!

I don't know where all that heat goes (South for the winter?) but my 1100 is warmer in the cold weather. Can't figure it out.

Winter can be kind of long, even with bike shows, visits to dealerships and catching up with your reading.

I wish that I had some great ideas or advice...but I don't.

Maybe we need some sort of a winter hobby, like building a ship, inside of a bottle, ...inside of a ship....inside of a bottle!

Nah!

Where's that global warming they've been promising us?

Just wait until this coming week when that arctic blast is supposed to hit us! We are going to experience winter yet after all.
