OK...I'm assuming that the campfire section of the forum is open to discuss whatever ridiculous notion pops into my head at any given time...but correct me if I'm abusing the system.
My question for tonight is...
Why is Ryan Seacrest on my television? If he is, in fact, the new Dick Clark...does this mean that we have 50 painful years of watching him on every single parade, holiday, and award show? I can't take it...I'm moving to Bolivia :banghead

1) If Mika can do it why not you?
2) Try Costa Rica, they like Americanos there.

I raised the Seacrest question tonight. His celebrity is a complete and utter mystery to me. He seems like a nice enough guy, average looking, seemingly average intelligence. But his fame was somehow pre-ordained. One day, he was everywhere. And apparently, he is the heir-apparent to Dick Clark. Many, many celebrities' fame is a mystery to me, but his is especially.
Gertrude Stein could have been speaking of Seacrest rather than Oakland when she said, "There's no there there."
Moran out.

I could not watch the show
Seeing Dick Clark was freaking me out
Someone should tell him to retire

Try Panama. The people are friendly, you can drink the water and there is great scuba diving especially on the Atlantic side. Oh and they use dollars but at much better prices.

It's a mystery until you see him interview a hard to handle celebrity or obnoxious wannabe celebrity.

Ya'll missed a truly great show in PBS, if you like bluegrass. Garrison Keillor hosted Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Emmylou Harris, Robin and Linda Williams, Doyle Lawson, and a whole bunch of others. Really some great playing. We found the program in progress at around 11:30 and watched until 1:30 when it ended. Dynamite!

I was at my parents and we ended up turning the numb box off. It was all about pill and car commercials :cry :banghead

I liked GK's the big production countdown to 2007. Two - One.
