It's just about lunch time, so I might haul out the RT and go for a ride to get something to eat. The roads are pretty much dry and temps are in the mid 50s right now.

Pretty cloudy, though. I just know it's going to rain when it starts to cool off later this afternoon.

Yesterday Dec. 10 was the annual Fun In The Sun Toys Run here in South Florida which was for the benefit of Joe DiMaggio Children's hospital, news paper claims 30K riders, TV claims 40K riders, no accidents.

Every one had a good time, so it says. I no longer do the ride, I just go to the destination with the new unwrapped toy and pay the 10 bucks to get in the park.

All this involves closing two interstate highways for two hours, it is a sight to see. Mostly Harleys, what did you expect???

I was in that ride with my dad and brother :dance :dance . It was again an amazing feeling of gratification :heart :heart to ride in such a parade of bikes and to help out those who are less fortunate. If one could wish for anything I would pick health above all :rocker . There were less people on the side of the road than in previous years, but we also left a little later than anticipated/planned. The ride was smooth although one guy dumped his bike in front of my mom who, with others, freed him from his bike and that rider was fine!! The colection was $500K + AND a TON of toys. :thumb :thumb

I spent 2 winters in New Joisey and 1 in DC and that's plenty for me.It snowed so much during a 3 day stretch that the only way I could locate my car was by the height-it was the only MG in the missle site parking lot-hence the lowest pile of snow! Now having to climb those radar towers in the winter is another story....
