So far, in the garage beauty queen contest, you're dead last.
No bike cover?

I'd like to say that covers are for sissies, but they're just not practical for me. I live on the fourth floor so after I remove a cover finding someplace to put it is troublesome. Since I ride the bike nearly every day for some reason or another, covering it is more of a pain than anything else.
As soon as the snow covers some of the hills, she'll be under cover more often.

If you leave the leaves then they act as insulation and a cushion. Course you might want to dry them out first.

Hey where did you get those reflective patches on the side bags?
I like those.

I don't remember.

They *might* be from hind-sight. I think I picked them up at some shop on the ride home with the new-to-me bike back in april.

A few more leaves, and you'll have a cover, compliments of mother nature! Lookin good, at least it gives you a photo opportunity.....

If you leave them long enough, they'll start composting and they'll keep your bike nice and warm.
:lol
There are few grosser things than finding slug colonies on your bike.

I bought mine from Cycle Gadgets (http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/product.asp?Item=RK).
Cool pic, knary. :thumb
As for where to put a cover when it's not on the bike, have you thought of wearing a cape? I hear they're all the rage out west. :brow

I take it the side cases are full. or they are just decoration?? Seems they could hold a cover... I find that maple leaves leave nasty stains on paint and seats..

Good point. I've done it in the past, but it seems like a waste of space. I use the bike for everything from grocery runs to exploring gravel roads.
Hell, I haven't done that in a long time, but I think I will again. Thank you for pointing out my stupidity.:p
(not usually too hard)

You are supposed to put the cover in the trunk of the car you are not using. Didn't you know that?:bliss

Who has a car?
Oh, yeah. My wife does. But while the bike gets a nice secure spot in the parking lot, the car gets parked out on the street. :p

Wow, and I though I was the only apartment-dwelling Beemerphile in the world! Hey, I've even got you beat since I live on the ground-floor and can put my bike in the living room to wrench on it! :p
Still wish I had a garage too though.

I live in an apartment, and I also have a garage. Works great for me. I travel too much to have a house, I like the apartment just fine.

Okay, so the cover goes in the wifecar.
At least you have your parking priorities straight.

Hmm the priorities used to be German vehicles in the garage, Japanese vehicles in the driveway. Then the Mrs. got a Volkswagen and a BMW!
Time to play the shuffle but they all fit.

You're not alone, Veg. Lady Pamela and I are still apartment dwellers. We have a garage too though.

Bow down and worship me. I am a god with powers over earth and heaven.
As soon as I got the cover on the bike, the weather forecast turned around and we're now enjoying a warm partly cloudy day.
