I think they still have that one location in Dogtown. It would be nice if the one on Page was still there. It took like 10 minutes to get from my door to theirs.
There's a family owned BMW/Ural shop in Eureka (by Six Flags).
That's all I know of around here.

I've heard rumors to that effect. None have any solid details though.

i was referring to a manufacturer backed point. motorad is an independent repair shop with no factory affilliation.
those in Oregon and other dis-interested parties can disregard this thread. :D

BMW can't go back into St.Loius with a shred of honor or dignity after the last dealership went bankrupt trying to conform to the corporate vision of what a dealership should be. What enteprenuer would pony up, and stand good for the kind of investment that sunk the last dealership. Venture capital for BMW motorcycle dealerships, I don't think so.

I don't look at as BMW coming back into this market. I look at it as a dealer coming back. I doubt that a future dealer will make the same mistakes as the past dealer. The Taj Mahal of the last dealer has finally been sold--to a fitness company. A new dealership won't be located there.

when BMW changed owners here in st louis and moved to their new location, it did indeed loose something......personality. first impression of the new location: sterile, corporate, stuck up, unfriendly. lot of white space overwhelming what is supposed to be a visual product/experience. that was my first impression of the staff too. the old location at least had character, next door to a salvation army temporary housing barracks, off forest park parkway in the city, employees with a little character even if bad.
funny, i just can't help thinking of Mike Meyers old bit "Sprockets" on saturday night live when reflecting on the short lived newer location.
