News from the 2007 Rally area (http://www.bmwmoa.org/rally/rally07/rally07announce.htm):

Gemütlichkeit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gem%C3%Bctlichkeit)

There is no direct translation for the word Gemütlichkeit.
However, Gemütlichkeit is the warm, comfortable feeling
one receives from pleasant surroundings and atmosphere.
I think you will find that when you come here.

Word of the Day:

restorationitis: A term coined by Mark A. Rock of Columbia Station, OH. A quasi-disease which affects a person with a restorable vehicle so that he feels compelled to work on his vehicle rather than eat, sleep, or anything else. While working on his vehicle to repair or replace a particular part, the "disease" compels him to disassemble, clean, polish, repair, etc. everything associated with the initial part and he justifies his actions by saying, "While I am at it, I might as well do it right." Don't ride ther front wheel.

"You need to get your steering and vision skills honed to the point where you can hit a certain spot on the pavement repeatedly without having to actually look at it. This involves using your peripheral vision to see the intended path of your tires, while still looking ahead at the next reference point (or as far ahead into the corner as possible). Try this: Find a tight, second-gear corner, have a buddy stand on the side of the road, and have him observe how close you can come to a fixed point on the pavement repeatedly while keeping your head turned as you scan far ahead into the bend."

Thanks MIKA
