I was reading in USA TODAY a few days ago about high-tech headaches in high end cars. The new Audi A8L has 36 computers and 1600 fault codes......

How about that---for complex......

Hello; nothing new there, My 86 535i has 5 computers on board, one for HVAC (heater) one for engine management, one for the ABS brakes, one for the cruise control, and one for all door locks and security. Oh yes theres an on board system to check all light bulbs, most fluid levels, and it also alarms if there is any chance of Ice.
