The white sh*t is coming down hard and fast today. I hate the snow, it puts me in a funk cause I can't ride.

Maybe I'll go jump into one of the clubhouse threads and stir up trouble.....nah, that's too much work.

Anyone got a real cheap old dirt bike they wanna sell me so I can go ride in the snow???

I'm gonna have to blow my driveway for a second time when I get home tonight.....stupid snow. :banghead

We have no snow in Lilydale. I am thinking about bundling up and going for a low temp ride.

When I was a child and living in Madison the standard joke for opening speaches was along the lines...

Honey the county sent the results of a land survey in the mail today.

Oh, what is that about?

The state surveyor checked the boarder. We are on the Illinoise side of the boarder.

Thank God! I just couldn't face another Wisconsin winter.

The snow demons will get me for this.

Thank you for a beautiful post.

The snow is not here and upstate NY usually gets hammered by snow. Today is is raining and the good news is; you don't have to shovel rain.

But ... I'm sure our turn will come.

:wave ...we are 55 degrees F right now in Halifax. Very light drizzle. Winter has been kind to us......so far. Our time is coming though but for now we're still riding. By Christmas I will be dreaming about the Keys. -Bob

Without snow, there would be nothing to look forward to in the Spring.

I feel sorry for my southern friends who can ride year around in warm weather. They miss the excitement of that first warm spring day an how good it feels to be back on the bike again.

I am about 18 miles East of Rasbutan, 5 blocks west of Lake Michigan.

We are expecting 10-16 inches.

Not a good riding day at all, although I am sure that a crazy rounder is out there somewhere!

I am about 18 miles east of Rasbutan and 3 miles south of ultracyclist and getting totally hammered with snow.

I am drinking tea and getting psyched up to shovel. Then I will head to my mom's house to dig her out. NOT riding today but I was planning to get together with a fellow IBR rider for Mexican food tonight. Hopefully that will still happen.

Here is a Google search for ‘snowblower (http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=snowblower&spell=1)’ some are hilarious some are not office friendly.

I have no intention of waiting til spring. If the plows do their job and get the roads clear, I'll ride this weekend.

The snow removal guys are shoveling between the parked cars right now here at work. My socks are still wet from walking through this crap.

Moving south sounds really good right now.

About 6 inches here in St. Louis. Wednesday night it was about 72. Thursday morning it was 32.

Of course the news is blowing it out of proportion..

Why are you shoveling?

Didn't you get the special order plow/blower attachment option that fits on your bike? You may want to talk to the gang at BMW of Milwaukee about it.

Here in extreme SW Missouri we got hammered overnight with 8 to 10 inches of snow. Our problem here is that we don't get a whole lot of snow so the City doesn't have much in the way of snowplows and such. The philosophy is just wait a couple of days and it'll melt off.
Actually it's very pretty while it lasts. Today it is 20, tomorrow 40's, early next week back in the 50's. It was 77 here on Monday.

Hmmmm. You guys should think about moving to Minnesota. Cold, but not a snowflake in sight. (Almost said not a flake in sight,.....but that's not totally true :D )

just finished moving 15" + off the driveway -- it'll be a week until the street melts enough to get out safely on the LT...

Thanks for the suggestion to move to MN, but I am heading for SW Texas when I retire (I hope)...

I can hardly wait till it snow's here. It hardly ever does. It's so much fun to get all bundled up, warm up the bike amidst clouds of steamy exhaust and then ride out into a pristine fresh white blanket of the white stuff. I've gotten real good at spinning circles and sliding backwards on hills to turn around. The looks I get from the cage drivers is one of perfect disbelief and if I weren’t riding my sidecar I guess that's the way I'd feel too ;-)

:dance You win, officially we only got 12" I think.

Of course, with my luck the garage heater broke first and then the snowblower took a dump on me so it was back to the good old shovel.

Once my lower back recovers and I get some heat out there I'm going to see if it was the final drive that went out :ha

I love that snow in Colorado. Weightless as colored air. Snow flakes the size of dimes that stack edge upon edge. What a marvel of nature.

Strap on the boards!! :clap

Don't feel bad. We were minus 29 C last week. Regis even had a copy of the Calgary Herald on his show, talking about it. But it's warmed up again.

We haven't been so famous since the '88 Olympics.

I thought it was supposed to be the Regis and Kathy show but there's some new girl named Kelly. Is Kathy still with Frank?
